Take your shot and create your own recurve bow from scratch!
Our recurve bow making workshops will introduce you to the craft of PVC bow making where you'll thermoform high grade PVC into a fully functioning recurve bow.
Once your bow is formed you'll be guided through the application of paint effects, leather punching, stitching and bowstringing techniques culminating with a fully functional recurve bow suitable for recreational archery, LARP, costuming and more!
We request a guardian accompany participants under 18 years
Aprons are provided, however its best to wear clothes you wont mind geting a splash of paint on, and comfy closed in footwear. ​

"I took my nephew to Pete's bow making workshop for his birthday. He had such an amazing experience!
Pete had obviously thought a lot about how to make the workshop hands on and accessible. There were lots of aspects that made it customizable, so that my nephew walked away with a bow that felt really special.
Pete was also really lovely, patient and interesting. His studio is very interesting and organized. He is a great person to spend half a day with. All of our interactions with Pete leading up to the workshop were also great. He was friendly and informative, never lost patience with us, aduring the workshop he was really good with my nephew - giving him space and encouragement while still providing lots of guidance and supervision.
My nephew came away so empowered and proud of his new bow. I cannot recommend this workshop enough!
