The objective in the Serpentine build was versatility.

Having played Les Pauls, SG's and 335's for years, a seed had long been planted to combine elements of all 3 in the form of a large bodied blues /rock guitar with plenty of bite and sustain, raw growl and refinement.

Our very first guitar build, the Serpentine holds a special place in ASO history. We liken it to an Orville Gibson era prototype from back in the day. Old-world charm combined with rock solid build quality and some truly unique accents.

The Serpentine is has been meticulously handcrafted by Luthier Pete Storey and is one-of-a-kind.
